Lovely, private, well maintained oasis
Casa Angular is a wonderful place to stay in Vieques. Located on a lush, beautiful 3 acres of well maintained and beautifully landscaped grounds, it is very private and safe. We never saw anyone else our entire time at the house. The house is an interesting and functional design that overlooks the gardens with a lovely view of the Caribbean Sea in the distance. We spent most of our time in Vieques enjoying the comfortable outdoor space at the pool during the mornings and evenings and the rest of the day at one of the beautiful nearby beaches. We shopped the farmers market for fresh fruit and veggies and the fishermen’s pier for fresh fish and lobster. The kitchen was very functional and had everything we needed to prepare most of our meals at the casa and we enjoyed eating all our meals outside. The gas grill was large and seemed brand new. We loved the outdoor showers and the layout of the house allowed my husband and I to have separate bathrooms which was awesome. The house was immaculately clean, check in and out were easy and efficient. Colleen was a dream host. She gave us lots of great information and then left us alone. We knew she was nearby and available if we needed her, but she respected our privacy which we loved. Mark, Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us. This was our 6th stay in the island but our first time back since hurricane Maria and then Covid. We were delighted to find the island looking beautiful and recovering nicely. Casa Angular is our favorite house that we have stayed in. It was exactly what we needed and we are already trying to figure out how to come back again sometime soon.
